Hello and welcome to the Star Trek 24th Century Computer 
Desktop Theme. The aim of this theme is  to mimic the computer 
terminals seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation as much as 
possible. I hope you enjoy it.    

Tip:  About the .bmp wallpaper included in this theme, use the wide
areas to the left and right of the screen to put your desktop icons.
use the area kind of like buttons on the screen.


Installation Tips:

Place all files together in one folder, and then use Plus! 
or some other Theme manager to install.

If by some quirk of fate you can't get it to install, here are
some instructions on how to do it manually:  

Pointers:
Go to the Control Panel folder and double-click on the
mouse control panel.  Now click on the Pointers tab.  In turn
select a pointer and choose Browse.  Locate the appropriate
pointer in the directory in which you placed the files 
extracted from the .zip file.  Once all pointers have been 
changed, click Apply.
Note: Use select.cur for Normal Select, Alt Select and 
Handwriting.  Use tricorder.ani for Working in Background.

Sounds:
Once in the Control Panel folder double click on the Sounds
control panel.  As with the pointers select a sound and then
browse for the new file located in the directory of files for 
this theme.  Once all sounds have been changed, click Apply.  

Icons and Wallpaper:
Also in the Control Panel Folder is the Display control panel.
This can also be accessed by right-clicking on the desktop and
choosing Properties.  On the Background tab, select the 
specs.bmp file from the theme folder.  On the Plus! tab, select
the icon to be changed and browse for the new icon.  Do this 
for each icon.  Make sure that Stretch Background to Fit is 
selected then click Apply.
